Amongst the Trees is a 3 story - open planned cottage, suitable for singles, couples and families with children. Access to the cottage is via a private path.
The cottage is situated 50 m away from the Botanical Gardens and 200 m from Emmarentia Dam. I have identified 125 different species of birds within 1 km of the cottage and the species count for Melville Koppies and the Botanical Gardens is over 250. One of our guests described our cottage as an "Oasis in the middle of Johannesburg"

The third level is a Sleeping Loft with double bed and is accessed via a spiral staircase,

The Patio overlooks a small indigenous courtyard garden and has a super large "Braai" is a wonderful place for breakfas, sundowners and eating
The ground floor level consists of a lounge area with two couches that open up into double beds, a guest toilet, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and breakfast counter and fireplace.
We are within walking distance of Sailing, Fishing, Canoeing, Tennis, Bowls, Squash, Archery, Rugby, Baseball, Soccer,Cricket and Dog Training.
The Braamfontien Spruit Trail is across the road for runners, walkers and cyclists and it is easy to cycle down the spruit to Bryanston and beyond. Private and group tours of the Melville Koppies, a Heritage Site and Nature Reserve in the Heart of Johannesburg can be arranged.
We are within 2 Km of three different shopping areas.
